FOUNDRY WEB SITE
Frostad Atelier is a local business located in McClellan, CA and is
perhaps the hottest and the coolest site I have ever worked
on. It provides an opportunity to showcase some effects and graphic
style that are not too common. It uses animation, an intro
done in flash and other elements within the rest of the site, using
a special combination of background images and an overlay
capability within the newer versions of Flash.
Some of the effects
(fire) are created using Particle Illusion 3. Pretty
cool

Cameron Design has created package designs for such companies as
Hansen, Kingsford, and Molecule Labs, Inc. Recently, (November 3rd
2007) the owner of the firm, Stephen Cameron needed some help to
build his new site, which he had created with particular precision
in the medium he was most familiar with: Print Design. He also
indicated that he had a pretty short timeline in mind... (this was
Saturday afternoon...) launch day was set for Monday.
Mission:
Impossible?
Challenge:
Help owner Stephen Cameron build a new site using the designs he
created in Adobe Illustrator which would exactly reflect the image
he had created, and with a minimum of rework and as quickly as
possible. Quite a challenge indeed. Terms were agreed upon and work
began.
Solution:
In just a few hours Optical Fuel was able to create the initial look
and feel. With some additional determination and focus -- the
site was launched by the desired date: November 5th. Not many
companies can do what Optical Fuel can. With a good plan, and a
solid concept design you can go from idea to reality in a short
while. This was a very special case, and I must add that
Stephen and I have worked very successfully together in the past,
however -- there is no substitute for skill and experience.
Result:
One nice looking site, and two very happy business owners!
